In January 2017 Argus were proud to be awarded the Fire Alarm contract for the DW Stadium in Wigan, the home of Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors. This prestigious contract for our local stadium is typical of the type of work Argus are now under taking.
In October 2016 Argus placed it’s first order with Orisec Ltd, the UK’s newest electronic security equipment manufacturer. Based in Lancashire England, all Orisec equipment is manufactured and assembled locally to he highest quality, securing UK jobs and providing products second to none. Argus are proud supporters of UK Manufacturing and purchase many products made by UK manufacturers, including Apollo, CQR , GJD, Honeywell Gent, Paxton Access, Texecom, Ventcroft, as well as our latest addition Orisec. The image shown is the new ES-120 Bell box, Argus started installing this product in October 2016, and provide a minimum 2 year warrantee on every unit.
In August 2016 Argus were proud to become a Bronze Patron Sponsor of the Warrington Youth Club. Warrington Youth Club supports young people’s development, offering opportunities to gain, increase and develop skills, knowledge, self awareness and confidence, and enabling them to make positive and healthy life choices through our wide range of programmes aimed at different age groups. Argus are proud to support this essential charity run facility in Warrington.
Argus are the new proud sponsor of Wigan Rugby Union Club.
In April 2016 Argus agreed to be the new first team sponsor for Wigan RUFC, in August 2016 the new kit arrived, which will be worn throughout the 2017 season. Wigan Rugby Union Football Club are Wigan’s number one community rugby union team. Founded in 1913 this historic club are a real part of the Wigan community. In March 2016 Argus were awarded the new Fire Alarm installation for Singleton Trading in Liverpool. Covering two thirds of the old Ethel Austins distribution centre at Saturn Park in Knowsley. Argus installed a new 240 device Gent Vigilon Fire Alarm System at this property, with the expandability to cover the whole site in the future. The installation was completed in June 2016 to the highest standard. Gent is one other most highly regarded fire equipment manufacturers in the UK, and only companies approved by Gent are trained to install their products. Gent is owned by the Honeywell Group and Argus install and maintain these systems for various clients including M&S at their UK distribution centres.
In January 2016 Argus were proud to become a Gent 24 Approved company, Argus Fire and Security can now design, install and maintain Gent Fire Detection systems.
In September 2015 Argus achieved the NSI Fire Gold credential, for the design, installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems. Argus are proud to be an NSI Gold and BAFE approved company.

In June 2015 Argus were awarded the new Security and Fire Alarm Installation works for Howe Bridge Leisure Centre near Wigan. The centre is currently under renovation to be transformed in to a state of the art facility.
