Large country house is in Saddleworth. The owner has entrusted the security of his home and family to Argus for almost 20 years. We have installed and maintained the intruder alarm and cctv surveillance system continuously during this period. This contract is typical of many which rely upon close ongoing co-operation between our staff and the customer. Our engineers specialise installing in these high quality homes. Great skill is needed to ensure that all cables are hidden from view.
Typical Detached House
This house is typical of the many hundreds of homes that Argus have installed Burglar Alarms on. Argus install and maintain Burglar Alarms and CCTV on all types of property from the smallest home to largest.
Many of our customers live in remote rural areas. As they often have no close neighbours to react to a siren, it is essential that remote signalling is employed to alert our Alarm Recieving Centre, and in many situations police response. Signals are passed via telephone lines and mobile phone networks and are configured to detect when the connections are being tampered with.
A typical problem which we are asked to resolve involves the protection of a detached building in the form of a garage, stable or farm outbuilding. Radio links can be set up enabling intruder alarms or CCTV to be monitored from a nearby house. We recently set up a camera in a stable to monitor the progress of a mare in foal and have on several occasions set up CCTV links for farmers to monitor lambing sheep from the farmhouse.
